i ran into an old friend, and they looked at me a said, i never wanted to know the real you, you are today. i want to keep you safe from today, right then i lost all sorts of attention and instantly thought about who ive become and how i effect nobody around me but myself. is a compromised grief ive come to terms with. i thought i tried so hard, and we walked our own separate paths... not once did we look back
